Week 9 of the NFL's 2012 regular season is upon us. Here's a spin around the league's injury situations we'll be monitoring over the next few days.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh responded to their $20,000 fine from the National Football League by saying that the will list all injuries in the future. Harbaugh did not disappoint on Wednesday,  listing 15 players on their injury report, 11 of whom had "full participation". Included in that group was safety Ed Reed, whose admission that he had a shoulder injury prompted the league to look into the matter in the first place. Reed was one of the full participants, designated with shoulder and chest injuries. Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was limited by a shoulder injury, but should play against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Browns defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin (calf) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (ankle) did not practice, but the defense will get a boost this week as 2011 first round pick Phil Taylor is expected to make his 2012 debut on Sunday. Taylor has not yet been moved from the PUP list to the active roster, therefore he's not on the practice participation report.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday and won't practice on Thursday. If Nelson's rehabilitation progresses, he could practice and Friday and play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Nelson was a game-time decision in Week 8, but was ruled out 90 minutes before the Packers' 24-15 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb (ribs) and guard Adam Snyder (quadriceps) did not practice on Wednesday. Four Cardinals, including safety Kerry Rhodes (back), were limited.

Atlanta Falcons outside linebacker Sean Weatherspoon did not practice on Wednesday due to a sprained right ankle. Weatherspoon leads the Falcons with 52 tackles, is second on the club with three sacks and hadn't missed a snap on the season prior to his injury, which required him to be carted off the field for precautionary purposes. Whether or not Weatherspoon plays this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys will be determined on Thursday.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant (hip) was among eight Cowboys to miss practice on Wednesday. That list also included defensive end Jason Hatcher (shin), running back DeMarco Murray (foot) and linebacker Dan Connor. Bryant and Hatcher are expected to play on Sunday, while Murray and Connor will likely miss the Falcons game.

Miami Dolphins first round quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) was limited on Wednesday, but hopes to play against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

"Just taking it one day at a time," Tannehill said via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. "I want to play obviously. I'm going to do everything I can to be ready, and hopefully that's the case. I'm doing everything I can — icing it multiple times a day…You want to see where you are, if you get your range of motion back, if the pain is tolerable, (if) you're able to take your drop backs and step into throws."

In addition to Tannehill, center Mike Pouncey (Achilles) and linebacker Karlos Dansby (biceps) were limited for the Dolphins, while cornerback Richard Marshall (back) and defensive tackle Tony McDaniel (knee) missed practice altogether. Quarterback Matt Moore (calf) and running back Daniel Thomas (elbow) practiced fully.

The Colts will be without Vontae Davis (knee), who they acquired from the Dolphins in August, and second round tight end Coby Fleener (shoulder) on Sunday. Interim head coach Bruce Arians made the disclosure on Wednesday, adding that he hopes to have both back in a few weeks. Colts linebackers Pat Angerer (foot), Dwight Freeney (ankle) and Jerrell Freeman (foot) missed practice, while Robert Mathis (knee) was limited along with cornerback Darius Butler (shoulder).

The Pittsburgh Steelers have already ruled out right tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle) and safety Troy Polamalu (calf) for Sunday afternoon's game against the New York Giants. Running back Jonathan Dwyer (quadriceps) and linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) missed Wednesday's practice, but running back Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) were limited. Seven Giants missed the first practice of the week, most notably running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) and safety Antrel Rolle (concussion). On the bright side, safety Kenny Phillips practiced for the first time since injuring his knee on Sept. 30.

The Buffalo Bills could have their starting offensive line back for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans. Rookie left tackle Cordy Glenn has missed the last three games with an ankle sprain, but was limited during Wednesday's practice and is optimistic about playing this week. Right guard Kraig Urbik has also missed the last three games and was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. The Bills also had defensive end Mario Williams, who will face his former team on Sunday.

Houston's biggest injury issue involves running back Ben Tate, who missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury. The Texans bolstered their backfield when they claimed undrafted rookie Jonathan Grimes off waivers from the New York Jets. Grimes led the Texans in rushing during the preseason. Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was held out of Wednesday's practice, but it was not injury related. Defensive end Antonio Smith (ankle) and cornerback Johnathan Joseph (groin) were limited.

Minnesota Vikings tight end John Carlson could miss his first opportunity to face the Seattle Seahawks, who originally selected the former Notre Dame standout in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Carlson suffered a concussion during a 21-14 win over the Cardinals on Oct. 21 and missed last Thursday night's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Carlson did not participate in Wednesday's practice. Running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) and wide receiver Percy Harvin (hamstring) participated on a limited basis, but are expected to play. Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin was limited after missing Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Detroit Lions with an ankle injury. Seattle practiced without wide receiver Braylon Edwards (knee) and defensive tackle Jason Jones (ankle) on Wednesday.

Ten Lions missed practice and four more were limited on Wednesday, with most of the names on the list playing starting roles this season. Calvin Johnson (knee), tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee), defensive end Cliff Avril (back), safety Louis Delmas (knee) and defensive tackle Corey Williams (knee) headlined the "did not participate" list, while linebackers Stephen Tulloch (knee) and Justin Durant (quadriceps) and wide receiver Titus Young (knee) were limited. Running back Mikel Leshoure and defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch were held out for non-injury reasons, but should play against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. As expected, the Jaguars were without running back Maurice Jones-Drew (foot), while cornerbacks Derek Cox (back) and Rashean Mathis (groin) were limited.

Six Carolina Panthers did not participate in Wednesday's practice. That group includes defensive tackle Dwan Edwards, who has 25 tackles and 4.5 sacks on the season. Wide receiver Brandon LaFell also missed practice with a head injury, but is expected to play against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Ron Green of the Charlotte Observer reports that LaFell took a hit to the head in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears, but had passed the concussion test and returned to the game. LaFell, who lead the Panthers with two touchdown receptions, complained of a headache when he reported to the facility on Monday. LaFell has played in 93.55 percent of the Panthers' offensive snaps this season. The Redskins will likely be without Pierre Garcon, who has a foot injury that is preventing him from practicing. Safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) participated on a limited basis on Wednesday.

Chicago Bears second round wide receiver Alson Jeffery (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. The right side of the Titans offensive line — guard Leroy Harris (knee) and tackle David Stewart (knee) — did not practice on Wednesday, the same day the team announced the addition of guard Kyle DeVan. Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports that Harris appears concerned that his season may be over. Titans quarterback Jake Locker (shoulder), linebacker Colin McCarthy (ankle) and left tackle Michael Roos (abdomen) practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday.

Denver Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter (illness) practiced in pads on Wednesday, albeit on a limited basis. Porter has missed the last two games after experiencing symptoms similar to a seizure he had in August. His status for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals will be determined later this week. For the Bengals, center Jeff Faine (hamstring) practiced fully on Wednesday. Signed as an injury replacement for Kyle Cook, the 31-year-old Faine injured his hamstring during the Bengals' 24-17 loss to the Steelers on Oct. 21.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerbacks Eric Wright (Achilles) and Brandon McDonald (ankle) were limited during Wednesday's practice. Wright is reportedly facing a four-game suspension for Adderall, but that the league hasn't made a ruling this late in the week is a good sign that he'll be available for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. For the Raiders, defensive tackle Richard Seymour (knee) did not participate in practice on Wednesday, while kicker Sebastian Janikowski (left groin), linebacker Rolando McClain (toe) and center/guard Stefen Wisniewski (ankle) were limited.
