We knew that the Washington Redskins' offense could be pretty high-flying with Robert Griffin III at the controls, but this was ridiculous. Late in the second quarter of their game against the Minnesota Vikings, the 'Skins did something pretty rare -- they scored two offensive touchdowns in an 11-second span.

The first score came with 2:31 left in the first half, and it culminated after a 90-yard drive that took more than six minutes off the clock. Rookie running back Alfred Morris scored on a one-yard run, the Redskins kicked the extra point, gave the ball back to the Vikings via kickoff, and that's where things got weird.
With 2:25 left in the half, and the Vikings with the ball at their own 20-yard line, Minnesota quarterback Christian Ponder took a sack from Redskins linebacker Lorenzo Alexander, coughed up the ball at the 8-yard line, and Alexander picked up the ball and rumbled with it to the Minnesota 6-yard line from the 13, where the ball was first picked up.

On the very next play, with 2:20 left in the half, Griffin threw a touchdown pass to fullback Darrell Young. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you score two offensive touchdowns in 11 seconds. You need a lot of quality play, and a little bit of help from the other team.
The second score put the Redskins up, 17-9. They had been shut out in the first quarter.
